Election Commission has released the schedule for the general elections of Punjab

Islamabad: The Election Commission has released the schedule of Punjab general elections.

According to the details, the Election Commission of Pakistan has released the schedule for the general elections in the province of Punjab, April 10 has been fixed as the date for submission of appeals and the appeals will be disposed of by April 17.

According to the Election Commission’s schedule, the revised list will be released on April 18, candidates will be able to withdraw papers on April 19, while election symbols will be allotted on April 20, and polling for the elections will be held on May 14.

It should be noted that the Election Commission has said that the decision of the Supreme Court regarding holding general elections in Punjab province on May 14 will be followed.

The Election Commission will contact the caretaker government of Punjab and consult on administrative and security matters, it has also been decided to contact the Ministry of Finance for obtaining funds.
