Hasan Ali is back in Pakistan Cricket Team.

Right-arm pacer Hasan Ali has been called up for the home Test series against New Zealand, starting on December 26.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Wednesday, announced 16-member squad for two Tests against New Zealand.

Hasan, who bagged 14 wickets in six matches of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2022-23, replaced Mohammad Ali who made his debut in first Test against England in Rawalpindi earlier this month. The right-arm medium pacer bagged just four wickets in two matches.

Kamran Ghulam replaced Azhar Ali who retired from Test cricket after playing the last Test against England this month.

Naseem Shah, who left the England Test series halfway due to an injury, has been retained in the squad after he was declared fit. Injured Haris Rauf will continue his rehabilitation in Lahore.

Pakistan and England will play first Test from December 26 in Karachi. Multan will host second Test later on.
