Karachi: The Traffic Police has released the traffic plan, parking and alternative routes plan for PSL matches.
According to the details, the traffic route plan was released for the Pakistan Super League matches at the National Stadium in Karachi.
A special traffic plan has been prepared for parking and alternative routes for cricket fans.
Parking arrangements have been made at Dalmia near Gharib Nawaz Football Ground for fans coming from different areas of Karachi.
It will be mandatory to show original ID card and match ticket for parking, while shuttle service will be taken from the parking lot to the National Stadium.
Traffic will not be allowed from Liaquatabad No. 10, Hasan Square Bridge to Stadium Road. Similarly, traffic will not be allowed from Expo Center turn of University Road towards Stadium while traffic will continue from Stadium Road to Hasan Square.
According to traffic police, Hasan Square traffic will continue from Stadium Road.
Entry of all types of heavy traffic will be prohibited from Stadium Signal to Hasan Square, public is requested to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and traffic police to avoid inconvenience.
It may be noted that the PSL 2023 started yesterday with a grand opening ceremony in Multan followed by a curtain-raiser between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans. Qalandars defeated Sultans by 1 run in the opening match.
On the other hand, Karachi Kings will play their first match today against Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
