Shahid Afridi’s suggestion to remove Sarfraz from captaincy

Former Quetta Gladiators player Shahid Afridi has revealed that he advised his former franchise owner Nadeem Umar to remove Sarfaraz Ahmed from the captaincy.

Speaking to a local TV channel, the former all-rounder said that if Sarfraz Ahmed does not have the burden of leadership, the wicketkeeper will perform well as a batsman.

Afridi said that I had also spoken to Nadeem Umar before the season that he should feed Sarfaraz as a single player, it will reduce the pressure on him and he will also enjoy his game.

Afridi also criticized the management of Quetta Gladiators for not selecting the right combination of players in the PSL 8 draft.

He said, Quetta Gladiators have not done their homework well this season and besides, they are constantly changing their line-up.
