Najam Sethi has issued a warning to the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) to curb player conduct at the upcoming two-nation series in Sharjah.
Asif Ali faced Afghan fast bowler Farid Ahmed Malik last year when the two teams met at the Asian Cup in Sharjah. Fareed pitched to Asif first, forcing the batter to raise his bat towards the Speedster, prompting the other players on the field and the umpire to intervene.

“I had a chat with Afghanistan officials in Dubai about crowd control and their players’ behavior. What is guarantee about managing your fans and fans, because past experiences haven’t been good,” Sethi said.
“We told Afghanistan Board to control their players. Winning and losing is part of the game. We have experience about winning and losing so we can control our emotions, but they are new to international cricket, so they need to keep their players in check,” he added.
