Sultan of Multan Ihsanullah has been named Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 8 Player of the Year.
Ihsanullah became the first up-and-coming player in PSL history to win the tournament’s best player title.
The right-handed bowler took 22 wickets and made a notable effort to win two trophies.
Ihsanullah expressed his gratitude to Allah in an interview after being honored. “We thank Allah for this honor. I want to dedicate this honor to my father who helped me along the way,” he said.
Ihsanullah continued to be Multan’s favourite bowler throughout the competition.
Under captaincy Mohammad Rizwan, Multan are in their third straight PSL final game.
