Bangladesh’s veteran batsman Mushfiqur Rahim scored the fastest century for his country in ODIs.
He accomplished this feat by hitting a four on the last ball of the innings in the one day match being played against Ireland.
The right-handed batsman played an unbeaten innings of 100 runs off 60 balls to take the team’s total to 349. His innings included 14 fours and 2 sixes.
This is his 9th career century and the fastest ODI century by any Bangladeshi player.
Along with this, 7000 runs were also completed in his ODIs. He also became the third Bangladeshi player to hold this honour.
