The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has yet to grant the retired pacer Mohammad Amir permission to participate in the 2022 Abu Dhabi T10 League.
The 30-year-old player is a member of the Bangla Tigers and has been training with the team in Abu Dhabi. However, he has not received a no-objection certificate (NOC), which is required for any player participating in a foreign league.
Amir is taken aback by the decision made by Pakistan Cricket Board while speaking with Cricket Pakistan. NOC is available to the league’s other Pakistan cricketers. “The manner in which I am being treated surprises me,” he added.
Sources claim that all other Pakistani cricketers, including Iftikhar Ahmed, have received NOCs.
It should be noted that Amir never misses an opportunity to criticize Pakistan and PCB. He criticized them for their recent T20 World Cup defeats to India and Zimbabwe.
