PTI founder acquitted in vandalism cases

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan and others have been acquitted in the Azadi March vandalism case by an Islamabad sessions court. The court ruled that the FIR was filed by an unauthorized person, and the allegations against Khan were baseless, leading to the acquittal. This follows previous bail granted by the Islamabad High Court in a separate case.

PTI founder acquitted in two vandalism cases

The Islamabad District and Sessions court acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan in two vandalism cases filed during the party's long march. Asad Umar, Faisal Javed, and others were also acquitted in a separate protest and vandalism case. The court accepted their acquittal pleas under section 249A of the constitution, deeming further trial unnecessary.
