PTI founder, Bushra Bibi’s plea seeking medical examination approved

An accountability court in Islamabad approved Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s request for a medical examination. The court also allowed UK minister Sayeeda Warsi to meet Imran Khan. Witnesses testified against the couple in the £190 million reference, and the hearing has been adjourned until May 15. Bushra Bibi claimed that someone spiked her food at Adiala jail, saying that harmful substances were mixed in her honey. Quashing of ‘Un-Islamic’ Marriage Case Against PTI Chief, Bushra Bibi

'Un-Islamic' marriage case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi ha been quashed by a district and sessions court in Islamabad. In an application submitted by Muhammad Hanif, the petitioner, it was stated that the complaint is being withdrawn due to technical reasons. The Judicial Magistrate Qudrat Ullah granted permission to withdraw the complaint under Section 248 Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and subsequently quashed the case.
