RAWALPINDI: An accountability court on Monday rejected the physical remand of former prime minister and PTI chairman, Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case, News reported.
An accountability court in Rawalpindi has approved a 4-day physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the £190 million settlement case. The hearing, presided over by Judge Muhammad Bashir, took place in Adiala Jail. Despite opposition from Imran's lawyer Latif Khan Khosa, the court ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to continue investigating PTI chief inside the jail. The proceedings have been adjourned till November 27.
