Saudi Arabia sets world record for cheap wind energy
Saudi Arabia has set new world records in cost reduction for wind energy production, achieving 50 percent share of renewable energy by 2030. In collaboration with Japan's MARUBENI Corporation, the AlGhat and Wa’ad Alshamal projects received power purchase agreements, setting world records for wind energy production costs. This initiative supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and aims to enhance energy efficiency.
