Salman Khan house firing case accused died by suicide

Anuj Thapan, accused in the Salman Khan house shooting case, has died by suicide while in police custody in Mumbai. Along with Sonu Subhash Chander, he was accused of supplying the weapons used in the shooting outside Salman Khan’s residence on April 14. The motives behind Thapan’s suicide are under investigation. The Mumbai police have invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act against notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in connection with the shooting incident.

Two men, suspected to be working for a notorious gang, were arrested for firing outside Salman Khan's residence. Joginder Shah, father of one of the accused, expressed shock over his son's involvement, claiming he was never involved in crime before.
