Govt officer’s son ‘punishes’ police officer for checking his car
A Karachi police officer was seriously injured when a vehicle belonging to a government official's son allegedly ran over him. The incident occurred on December 19, 2023, in Defence Housing Authority Phase 8. The officer, Mukhtiyar Ahmed, sustained severe injuries, and the suspect, son of a government official, was reported to have interfered with the police. A case has been registered against the suspect, and raids are being conducted to apprehend him.
