Islamabad: Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, a former senator and a prominent leader of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), was sworn in as the eighth caretaker prime minister of Pakistan on Monday. The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by President Arif Alvi at Aiwan-e-Sadar, attended by outgoing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former cabinet members.
