Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz visited Kot Lakhpat Jail, breaking her fast with women prisoners, presenting gifts, clothes, and assistance. She toured the jail, planted a sapling, and visited the cell where her father was imprisoned, getting emotional. Maryam inaugurated a hospital for drug-addicts and a video call facility for prisoners, also reviewing food quality.
