Parvez Elahi gets bail in ‘illegal’ appointments case
Parvez Elahi, President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has been granted bail by the Lahore High Court in an ‘illegal’ appointments case. Accused of making illegal recruitments, he was arrested multiple times, with the latest arrest made on September 18 by the Punjab ACE for alleged illegal recruitments in the Punjab Assembly. Bail was granted against a surety bond of Rs100,000.
