Woman among two FIA officials arrested in fake passport case

Two officials from the Passport Office in Islamabad, including a female employee, were arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for their involvement in issuing forged passports. They had previously been granted pre-arrest bail, which was revoked by the Special Judge Central. The case involves the issuance of fake official passports to private individuals, with three people managing to flee abroad using illegal passports. An investigation task force was set up by the interior ministry to probe into the issuance of fake Pakistani passports to Afghan citizens.
