PTI leader Omar Ayub Khan was granted transit bail in six cases by the Peshawar High Court. He appeared with his counsel to seek the remand and claimed that 95 'fake' cases have been filed against him. Additionally, he demanded the release of PTI workers, including the former prime minister. Khan recently lost the PM election to Shehbaz Sharif.

PTI’s Sheikh Waqas Akram gets transit bail from PHC

PTI's Sheikh Waqas Akram received transit bail from Peshawar High Court in two cases. He was instructed to provide a surety bond and approach the respective court within 20 days. Waqas Akram, supported by PTI, won the NA-109 constituency election with a 52.00% voter turnout, defeating PML-N candidate Mohammad Yaqoob Sheikh.

PTI’s Shibli Faraz gets protective bail from PHC

PTI leader Shibli Faraz received protective bail from Peshawar High Court. The court prohibited his arrest and scheduled a hearing for February 26. Additionally, PTI candidate for Chief Minister Punjab Mian Aslam Iqbal was granted bail. PTI founder Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also received bail in a separate case.

Elections 2024: No ‘bat’ for PTI as PHC restores ECP order

The Peshawar High Court revoked the stay order, restoring the Election Commission of Pakistan's decision to declare PTI's intra-party polls null and void and strip it of its election symbol, the bat. The court reserved the verdict after hearing arguments from both sides. PTI had challenged the ECP verdict in Peshawar High Court.
