Model Sawa Pontyjska sued Cannes Film Festival
Ukrainian model Sawa Pontyjska is suing the Cannes Film Festival for alleged mistreatment by security staff. She claims a female guard restrained her and caused physical and psychological harm at the premiere of Marcello Mio. Pontyjska is seeking $108,300 in damages and has filed a legal complaint. Other instances of alleged bad behavior by security guards have also been reported.
