IPP chief Jahangir Tareen quits politics
Jahangir Tareen, IPP Patron-in-chief, has resigned as party chairman and announced his decision to leave politics after facing defeat in the recent elections. He expressed gratitude to his supporters, opponents, and the people of Pakistan, vowing to serve the country in a private capacity. Tareen faced defeat in both constituencies of the National Assembly.
