The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) paid homage to former cricket team captain Imran Khan for his outstanding performance in the 1987 World Cup. Imran Khan, who now leads the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party after transitioning to politics more than two decades ago, was commemorated by the board as the 2023 ICC Men's World Cup is set to commence next month in India.
