Pakistan demands the release of Pakistanis who have completed their sentences from India

Islamabad: Pakistan has formally requested the release of its nationals who have completed their sentences in India. According to the Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Pakistan and India exchange lists of prisoners twice a year.

On July 1st, the two countries exchanged the latest list, and now Pakistan seeks the repatriation of its citizens serving sentences in Indian prisons. The spokesperson also mentioned that a substantial number of Pakistani prisoners have already completed their terms in India.
