KARACHI: Sindh’s caretaker cabinet in a session on Oct. 31 will discuss, sugarcane support price, special economic zone for granite in Thar and other agenda, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
Provincial caretaker cabinet with Chief Minister Maqbool Baqar in chair, will meet at Sindh Secretariat, according to an official notification.
Caretaker cabinet will discuss a 16-point agenda including fixation of support price of sugarcane, workers minimum wage and setting up a special economic zone for granite in Tharparkar.
Caretaker cabinet will also grant approval for hike in arms licence fee and wheat issuance policy of Sindh.
The meeting will also consider over appointment of the executive director of the NICVD.
Other matters on the agenda included Polio Eradication Emergency Plan apart of a request of a private hospital for relief in property tax.
According to the notification, the cabinet session will take decision on standards for non-biodegradable polyethene bags.
