Twitter has once again announced to charge a fee from the blue tick holder.

Social media website Twitter has once again announced to charge a fee from the blue tick holder while users will now see less ads.

The owner of Twitter clarified last month that the feature of the service of Twitter Blue Tick in exchange for a monthly fee is being delayed for a long time in order to make it more efficient. The option to do so has been restored.

However, Twitter management now says that users will have to pay eight US dollars per month to get the blue tick.

Management says users using the Twitter app on Apple devices will pay $11 while users will see fewer ads on the app.

According to Twitter management, tweets of blue tick users will be prioritized over other users while longer and better quality videos will be able to be posted and viewed.

Note that the said feature was shut down on November 12 and later Elon Musk announced to restart it on November 29.

He said in his short tweet that Twitter Blue will not be re-introduced immediately, it is being delayed for some time to make it look better.

Elon Musk said that after improving it, they are also thinking of changing the blue tick of institutions and organizations to other colors than ordinary people and personalities.
