Saudi Arabia’s ‘Sasco’ company has pioneered the introduction of self-service petrol stations in the country, setting up three such stations in Riyadh under the project.

Riyadh has been selected by ‘Sasco’ as the first city to host this initiative, with three self-service petrol stations established to allow consumers to fuel their vehicles themselves.
These self-service petrol stations are located at Khareez 4, Shahzad Mashal Road, and Al Alia Highway in Riyadh, serving the public’s needs.
In a statement, the company clarified that these three stations in Riyadh are designed for self-service, where customers will pump their own petrol and proceed to the counter for payment.
At these self-service petrol stations, it is important to mention that there will be no employees stationed on-site. Only counter staff will be present, and customers will pay for their fuel at the counter. The payment will be facilitated through the bank card system known as ‘Sadad’.
