Sharma adeptly sidestepped the quandary, extolling the prowess of both Afridi and Starc as equally menacing forces on the cricketing battleground.

He commended the skill sets of both bowlers, underscoring their status as formidable opponents in their respective roles.

“Neither…. Both possess quality, pose significant threats with the new ball, and exhibit remarkable swing at pace, so I’d say neither,” he remarked.

Previously, Rohit openly discussed the upcoming clash with arch-rivals Pakistan in the 2023 Asia Cup, set to commence on August 30. The 36-year-old acknowledged the inherent challenges tied to facing Pakistan, underscoring the complexities of both securing victories against them and engaging in the contests themselves.

In a conversation with Star Sports, he stressed the substantial exertions his team must put forth to navigate these high-stakes encounters.

“Whenever you go up against Pakistan, it’s always a test, be it defeating them or competing in the matches; we need to put in a considerable effort,” Sharma remarked.
